This Privacy Policy explains how DD Consultus Limited, a company registered in Malta with company registration number C65123, with registered office at Office 1, Piazzetta Business Plaza, Ghar il-Lembi Street, Sliema SLM 1560, Malta (the “Company”, “we”, “our”, “us”), operating the website licencegaming.com (the “Website”), collects, uses, stores and protects personal data. We are the data controller for the processing described in this Policy.

1. Personal data we collect

  • Data you provide: name, email address, company name, phone number (if provided), country or jurisdiction of interest, and the content of your message when you use our contact form, email us, or message us on WhatsApp.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and referring pages, collected through server logs and, only with your consent, analytics cookies.

  • Responding to enquiries and providing pre-contractual information (legal basis: performance of a contract or steps prior to entering a contract).
  • Providing consulting services under a separate engagement (performance of a contract).
  • Website analytics to improve our content and services (consent, given via the cookie banner).
  • Website security, fraud and abuse prevention (legitimate interest).
  • Compliance with legal and regulatory obligations, including anti-money-laundering rules where applicable (legal obligation).

3. Cookies and similar technologies

When you first visit the Website, a cookie banner lets you accept or decline analytics cookies. Analytics cookies are set only after you click Accept. You can change your choice at any time via the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer or through your browser settings.

  • _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics, set only after consent): visitor statistics. Duration: up to 24 months. Provider: Google Ireland Limited.
  • _clck and _clsk (Microsoft Clarity, set only after consent): behaviour analytics and session insights that help us improve the Website. Duration: session up to 12 months. Provider: Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited. Microsoft may set additional cookies on the clarity.ms domain.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile cookies (security): protect our contact form from automated abuse. Strictly necessary. Provider: Cloudflare, Inc.

4. Third-party services we use

  • Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited): visitor statistics, only after consent. IP anonymisation is enabled.
  • Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited): a product-analytics tool that captures anonymised interaction data (clicks, scrolls, mouse movement) and aggregated session replays to help us understand how the Website is used and improve it. It runs only after you accept analytics cookies. Text and form inputs are masked in session replays.
  • Google Fonts (Google Ireland Limited): fonts are loaded from Google servers, which receive your IP address when the page loads.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.): security verification on our contact form.
  • Map tiles: the map on our Website loads from CARTO (carto.com), which serves map tiles based on OpenStreetMap data and receives your IP address when the map is displayed.
  • WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited): if you choose to contact us via the WhatsApp button, WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy apply.
  • Hosting provider: our web server automatically records technical access logs.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent personal data. We share personal data only with: professional advisors and service providers involved in delivering our services (bound by confidentiality and data processing obligations); regulatory or governmental authorities where required by law; and the technical service providers listed in section 4.

6. International transfers

Some providers listed above may process data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where this happens, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

7. Retention

Enquiry data is retained for up to 24 months after our last contact, unless an engagement follows, in which case data is retained for the duration of the engagement and thereafter as required by applicable law (including tax and anti-money-laundering retention periods). Analytics data is retained according to the Google Analytics settings, up to 24 months.

8. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting processing before withdrawal). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC), Malta (idpc.org.mt), or with your local supervisory authority.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls and security monitoring. No method of transmission over the Internet is completely secure.

10. Children

The Website is directed at businesses and professionals and is not intended for persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

11. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are published on this page with an updated revision date.
